Our current Board of Directors is comprised of individuals from diverse backgrounds, age ranges, and income levels who give of their time and talent voluntarily. Board members are nominated and elected by facility members at the annual meeting held in the spring and members serve a maximum of three (3) consecutive three-year terms. All current facility members are encouraged to serve.
Consisting of nine (9) members, the Board of Directors is considered a ‘working’ board and meet at least once per month. Each individual brings to the organization a unique set of skills that are complementary providing outstanding support and leadership; 100% of the Board contribute monetarily to the WRAC.
The Board provides guidance to the Executive Director, physical and financial support to the Center, promotes a positive image to the community, fulfills committee assignments, paying close attention to the facility’s bylaws, mission, short and long term goals, and expectations.

We are currently taking applications for Directors.
It is the people, who on a daily basis, keep the facility running while happily greeting guests that are the heart of the WRAC.
All entry level positions, Floater and Desk staff, are part-time and some weekend work is required.
We are always taking applications.
